Enabling Gorgias With Extend

Steps to Install Extend App in Gorgias

• If you don't already have an account with Extend for the Merchant Portal (https://merchants.extend.com) request one to be created at [email protected].
  • Provide the following information:
    • First and Last Name
    • Email
• Login to the Merchant Portal
  • https://merchants.extend.com
• Click Connect App

NOTE: Our app is going through the approval process.

• Click Authorize App

• You should get routed to the Merchant Portal. Click toConnect to complete the Gorgias integration. If not logged in already, then Login to the Merchant Portal and Click Connect

• You will get redirected back to Gorgias where the integration has been setup.
  • In Gorgias, navigate to Settings > HTTP Integration > Manage and you'll see the Extend integration.

• Trigger a ticket from the Shopify store that has Gorgias installed.
• That should trigger the widget to start showing in Gorgias when viewing a ticket.

Merchant Portal Gorgias Settings

There are a few settings that help control when tickets are created in Gorgias. These are controlled through the Merchant Portal.

• Login to the Merchant Portal: https://merchants.extend.com
• Click Integrations at the top right (must be an Admin role)

• Click Third Party Apps

• Click Edit and you can toggle any of the settings listed to control when tickets are created in Gorgias by Extend.
