Overview

In this guide we will review what to expect during your technical Extend integration process for your Shopify storefront.

We'll go through the steps required to take integrate our Offer placements. Before you begin we recommend reviewing the requirements to get started on a Shopify integration.

Extend Permissions

If you require Extend to assist you with an integration, you can do so by following these steps:

1. Create a ticket through your Merchant Portal account
   1. An Extend support engineer will reach out to you to request access to your Shopify store. The request will come from [email protected]
      You may already have the partners.engineering@extend account enabled within your Shopify store, if so you will have to update your permissions to the following as well.

In order to make sure Extend can support to the fullest extend, the following permissions will get requested:

General

• Orders
  • Export Orders
• Draft Orders
• Products
  • Export products
  • Delete products
• Manage and install apps and channels

Online store

• Themes
  • Edit theme code

Administration

• Checkout

2. Install Shopify's Theme Access app
3. Await instructions from the Extend support engineer
