Shopify Plus Checkout Offers
Checkout Offers are a specific offer type that appears in an eCommerce checkout flow. Extend leverages Shopify's new check out extension framework to offer Shipping Protection Choice during the checkout flow's shipping page.
This feature is relevant to Shopify+ stores only.
Shopify stores without the Shopify Plus upgrade wont be able to customization the Checkout page.
Shopify Plus is an expanded offering on Shopify that further increases your toolset and store options as a merchant including your ability as a merchant to customize your store. One such feature is the ability to edit and customize the Checkout page with Checkout Offers from Extend.
Checkout Offers are a specific offer type that appears in an eCommerce checkout
flow. Extend leverages Shopify's new check out extension framework to offer
Shipping Protection Choice during the checkout flow's shipping page.
- The feature eliminates the need for page refreshes in the checkout flow creating
a better user experience. - As a Shopify Plus Merchant you will have the ability to easily implement and tailor the
presentation of this offer via drag and drop capabilities.

Extend Choice
Customers can choose to include shipping protection or remove it at checkout, paying just 2% of the overall order value. This selection can be set to either an Opt-In or Opt-Out Experience.
OPT-OUT

With the opt-out experience, Shipping Protection is automatically selected
and the customer must deselect the checkbox if they want to opt-out of
shipping protection. -
We anticipate that ~40% of customers will keep SP, leaving ~60% of customers
to be supported by the merchant with claims/WISMO/replacements. -
Merchants will have the option to include shipping protection in-cart or at
checkout depending if the integration is API or Shopify.
OPT-IN
