Using the Merchant Portal

The Merchant Portal allows you to view your business performance, manage your account and protection plan sales, access your API keys and more.

The Merchant Portal allows you to view your business performance, manage your account, access your API keys and more. Additionally, it allows you to manage your Products, Contracts, Claims, and Leads and perform a specific set of actions for each.

If you need to be added as a new user, contact your company's Extend Account Owner directly.

Create your Account

When you are ready to create your Merchant Portal account, your MSM will send you a secure link. This is the only way a Merchant Portal account can be created today. You will need to provide the following information as part of the account creation flow:

  • Store Name
  • Store URL
  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Email Address

Note

You can always update the information above from within the Merchant Portal at a later date.



Access your Account

Once you've created your account, you can log into the Merchant Portal using the following links:

Demo Environment (Sandbox)
https://merchants.demo.extend.com/login

Production Environment (Live)
https://merchants.extend.com/login

Note

The Demo and Production environments require a separate set of credentials. To create a Merchant Portal account on Demo to preview your integration before going live, please contact your MSM.



Reset your Password

If you have forgotten or need to reset your Merchant Portal account password, do the following:

  1. Go to https://merchants.extend.com/login
  2. Click the Forgot your password? link
  3. Enter your email address
  4. Click the Send me instructions button

You will receive an email that contains a link. Click the link and set your new password.
